Ararat-73 Dream Team Player Sergey Bondarenko Gets Honorary Award

Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has decreed that Sergey Bondarenko, a member of the Ararat-73 legendary football team, be awarded the title “Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia”.

Football Federation of Armenia President Artur Vanetsyan presented Bondarenko, who turns 70, with the honorary award.

In 1973, Ararat won the Top Soviet League and the Soviet Cup (in a memorable final game against Dynamo Kyiv).
