Armenian and Iranian Prosecutor Generals Sign Cooperation Agreement

The Prosecutor Generals of Armenia and Iran met today in Tehran and discussed cooperation between their two offices.

Iranian Prosecutor General Mohamed Janfar Montazeri welcomed his Armenian counterpart, Artur Davtyan, to Iran and said that the centuries-old friendly relations between the two nations would serve as a fine basis on which to foster cooperation in the law enforcement sector.

Davtyan, according to an Armenian government press release, thanked Montazaeri for his warm reception and said that today’s meeting would foster greater collaboration between the two nations’ prosecutor offices.

The two prosecutor generals signed a 2019-2020 cooperation agreement that envisages the organization of several joint events in Yerevan and Tehran.
