Catholicos Garegin II Appoints New Vatican Representative

Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II has appointed Archbishop Khajag Barsamian to be his special representative to the Vatican and to serve as the Western European Patriarchal Delegate of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

Archbishop Barsamian served as the Primate of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of America from 1990-2018.

He was born in Arabkir, Turkey, in 1951.
