Polls Close in Armenia – 48.6% Voter Turnout

According to Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission (CEC), 48.6% of voters cast ballots in today’s snap parliamentary election.

The CEC says 1,260,840 out of 2,592,481 eligible voters cast ballots.

Voter turnout in Yerevan - 47.6%.

Gyumri - 39.2%

Vanadzor - 46.6%

Only 5 of the country's 13 electoral districts registered voter turnout of 50% or more.
