It is rather disappointing that you decided to publish online the commentary by David Boyajian, “Facing History, the Anti-Defamation League, and the Silence of the Lambs,” (12/6/11), without fact checking or making an inquiry with The Genocide Education Project regarding the claims made about the organization in the piece.
Nareg Hartounian’s case is just another example of serious and widespread violations of human rights in Armenia. What makes this case particularly troubling is the fact that it may also stand out as a serious violation of property rights. Well, let’s hope that it will not be the outcome.
Despite the fact that Yeghiazaryan was not legally authorized to represent the defendant, Vanadzor Institute, the Appeals Court nevertheless accepted the response he presented to the court.
