The first to take the witness stand was the alleged victim’s mother. She described how they first met with the accused, Narineh Movsisyan, and how the woman promised child care work to her daughter in Turkey.
As a photographer I try to build the same cocoon wherever I go in the world. Even though I try to create similar conditions in every location to take photos wherever I photograph, my work is heavily influenced by the specificity of the place and the time period.
