While the Prosperous Armenia party has officially stated that it will not be entering into a coalition with the ruling Republican Party, the ARF has left the door open to such a move, announcing that it will do so only if the new government accepts its seven point plan.
President Serzh Sargsyan has reappointed Edward Nalbandian as Armenia’s foreign minister under the new government being formed following the resignation of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
It's been 11 years since then 18-year-old army conscript Emil Chivtchyan (pictured), who served in a Vanadzor military unit for less than 80 days, returned home. Chivtchyan, who is being held in Nubarashen penitentiary, is one of 14 former soldiers who were sentenced to life in prison.
