Armenian National Congress (HAK) MP Nikol Pashinyan took the floor during a parliamentary debate today on traffic safety and violations and stated that 11 billion AMD (US$26.5 million) in traffic fines had been issued in the last two years based on violations caught by speed cameras.

Concluding his speech, Abrahamyan used a play on words incorporating the name of the social movement Dem Em (I Am Against) that has been the most vociferous and active opponent of the mandatory pension system.
