Demonstrating against gender based pregnancy terminations, protesters placed kids’ shoes on the ground to symbolize female babies not born as a result. Information brochures were distributed to passersby showing the gender disparities in births in Armenia. Protest organizers claim that this tendency can have painful repercussions including a rise in crime, kidnapping of women and an exodus of males.
