Romanian finance minister Darius Valcov has resigned over allegations he took a huge bribe when serving in a previous mayoral post.
On March 3, the European People's Party has passed a resolution which calls on Turkey to recognize and condemn the Armenian Genocide committed by the Ottoman Empire. It appeals to the international organizations, the European Union and the Council of Europe Member States, to restore the historical justice and pay tribute to the victims.
The European Investment Bank (EIB) is lending EUR 10 million to finance the construction of an electricity transmission line and a high voltage direct current station to develop a link between Armenia and Georgia.
