Hakob Sanasaryan, president of the Greens Union of Armenia, noted that the mountains of Armenia were being scalped and the underground water reserves defiled just so that mining companies could make a bit of cash.
Signing the agreement on behalf of China was Rear Admiral Guan Youfei, director of the Office for International Military Cooperation of the Central Military Commission.
The two stressed the importance of spurring political dialog between Yerevan and Chișinău, in addition to cooperation in the trade and humanitarian sectors.
