Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan today hosted outgoing Italian Ambassador to Armenia Giovanni Ricciulli.

Karapetyan thanked the ambassador for the work he’s done to strengthen Italian-Armenian relations since arriving in Armenia in December 2013.

According to the Armenian government’s press release, Ambassador Ricciulli thanked Karapetyan for his close cooperation on a variety of matters, stressing that positive trends tying the two countries on the business front have emerged of late.

Ricciulli is quoted as saying that the steps taken by the Armenian government to get Italian investors interested in Armenia are paying off.
