Armenian President Armen Sarkissian today hosted the Ambassadors of the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Lebanon to the Republic of Armenia, as well as Charges d’affaires of Kuwait and Iraq.

Issues pertinent to the agenda of the bilateral cooperation, particularly those related to the deepening of economic cooperation, were discussed, this according to a presidential press release.

President Sarkissian expressed his gratitude to the diplomats for their warm attitude towards the Armenian communities in their respective countries which has allowed Armenians not only to preserve their national identity but also participate in the political, social, and economic life of these countries.

The participants also discussed the current situation in Armenia.
