Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan has met with Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan in Stepanakert.

Mnatsakanyan, Armenia’s newly appointed foreign minister, stated that his first trip had to be to Artsakh given its significance to all Armenians.

“It is one of the most important pillars of our identity. Our first goal is to ensure the security of Artsakh and its people,” Mnatsakanyan said.

The two also discussed the current state of the Karabakh conflict settlement process and steps now being taken to organize future meetings of the Armenian, Azerbaijani and Artsakh presidents.
