Stuttgart University Pulls out of Genocide Event
Prof. Dr. Wolfram Ressel, Rector of the University of Stuttgart, appears to have broken his promise made on April 5 to allocate an auditorium for an event scheduled for May 28 entitled "Persecution, Eviction and Extermination of Christians in the Ottoman Sultanate form 1912-1922."
Rector Ressel argues that the decision to cancel was a result of a protest presented by a Turkish organization in the German city and by his own desire to remain neutral on the matter.
