16:15, February 6, 2012Free Democrats President Khachatur Kokobelyan told reporters today that he wouldn’t get into a name calling game when it comes to the Armenian National Congress (ANC).
“I won’t criticize them because there are enough critics already. But one thing is clear, a a liberal force, the ANC isn’t liberal,” Kokobelyan said.
Kokobelyan argued that liberalism has retreated in Armenia’s political arena.
He said there strategic and organizational problems that forced Free Democrats members from leaving the ANC.
Kokobelyan stressed that what is needed in Armenia today is an ideological struggle and not one based on resources or personalities.
