Minutes ago, the Court of Appeals handed down its verdict upholding the 7 years sentence passed by a lower court against "Haykakan Zhamanak" editor  and political opposition activist Nikol Pashinyan. In accordance with the general amnesty provisions adopted by the Armenian Parliament last year, the court also decided to cut Pashinyan's sentence in half.
