With the sponsorship of the Tehran Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church,  a rally in defense of Kesab Armenians that took place yesterday in the courtyard of the Sourb Tarkmanchats Armenian Church in the Iranian capital. 

Dr. Karen Khanlaryan, who represents the northern Iranian Armenian community in the Majlis addressed the crowd, and a statement by Tehran Primate Archbishop Sebouh Sargsyan was read. 

The Iranian Armenian community has also sent letters of protest to foreign diplomatic representatives in Iran and United Nations officials. 

The letter calls on the international community to see that a halt is put to violence and the infringement of the rights of   Syrian citizens and minorities and that Turkey should be warned and punished regarding its cooperation with terrorist groups
