Heritage Party Calls on Opposition Leaders to Meet and Discuss Future Steps

Armenia’s Heritage Party has today called on the leaders of the four non-coalition parties to meet and discuss their future steps and strategy in light of the recent resignation of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.

In its public statement, Heritage says that it has always backed the unity of political and civil forces because it realizes that this is the only possible way to change the burdensome situation in Armenia.

While Heritage says that its long-term goal is systematic and total regime change, forging a unified agenda amongst the four political forces was a necessary transitional step and tactic in the struggle in order to launch a vote of no confidence derive regarding the Tigran Sargsyan led government.

Heritage says it is now time to create an inter-party united front in the parliament as a basis for further collaborative work amongst the four parties and as a basis to launch the next wave of pan-national protest.
