Valery Permyakov, the Russian soldier suspected of killing six members of the Avetisyan family in Gyumri on January 12, has been officially accused of murder according to a statement released today by Armenia’s Investigative Committee.

In its statement, the Committee says that sufficient evidence has been unearthed in the preliminary investigation to sustain the accusation against Permyakov.
