25 residents of Vahan village, some children, went to a nearby medical center complaining of vomiting, diarrhea and overall weakness.

Six were treated and sent home, while the other 19 were admitted to the hospital.

It was later revealed that all 25 had consumed mulberries purchased from the same seller in the village.
