Bad Hot Dogs: Food Poisoning Hits 20 Pupils in Ararat Province School
Armenia’s Food Safety Inspectorate reports that the cafeteria food in the Baghramyan village school in Ararat Province is being inspected after more than twenty pupils became sick.
Most of the afflicted pupils are said to be in the upper grades.
A temporary ban on feeding the pupils has been implemented.
Update: The investigation has revealed that all the pupils had eaten hot dogs sold at the school's cafeteria. The hot dogs, manufactured by the same Baghramyan village company, are also supplied to another 13 schools in Ararat Province.
The principals of these schools have been instructed to confiscate the hot dogs and return them.
