During his visit to Sweden, Armenian Minister of Health Armen Mouradyan met with his Swedish counterpart and had meetings with other top officials.

Mouradyan had been invited to Sweden by that country’s health minister in order to discuss cooperation in the health sector.

The delegation led by Minister Mouradyan paid a visit to Uppsala University Hospital and the Skandion Proton Therapy Clinic. The clinic, the only alternative radiation unit in Scandinavia, has made great strides in the treatment of cancer.

The delegation also met with representatives of Ericcson and Elekta, organizations that are the leaders in electronic medicine and that have expressed an interest in doing business with Armenia.
