Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan hosted Zohal construction company founder Jabbar Gargash (United Arab Emirates), co-owner of the company A. Manzhosov (Austria) and Helios Power company owner I. Gergov (Bulgaria).

The meeting focused on the prospects of cooperation in the energy sector. Zohal founder Abdul Jabbar Gargash said his company is interested in investing in Armenia’s energy sector and implementing long-term projects in different areas (solar, wind energy, etc.).

Welcoming Zohal’s willingness to make investments in Armenia, Prime Minister Abrahamyan stressed that his government will possibly assist them in the implementation of mutually beneficial programs.

PM Abrahamyan noted that the government is currently discussing Armenia’s long-term energy sector development strategy, and in this context, Armenia is keen to continue reforms encompassing new directions of development.
