Law enforcement in Armenia report that they have stopped yet another attempt to smuggle cocaine into the country.

Yesterday, police reported the arrest of a Polish citizen who tried to smuggle in 13 kilos of cocaine.

Local police in conjunction with Interpol’s office in Armenia are said to have found three kilos of cocaine hidden in a suitcase belonging to Ilina Shelever, a Ukraine citizen, after landing in Yerevan on November 10 after a São Paulo – Dubai flight.

Shelever has been arrested.

According to preliminary investigation results, the rugs were obtained in Latin America.
