Police Detain Four Sit-Down Protesters in Yerevan

Police today detained four members of the New Armenia Salvation Front (NASF) who had been staging a sit-down protest in Yerevan’s Liberty Square.

The four were detained when they tried to erect a tent in the square.

The NASF, in a statement, is demanding that police immediately release the four individuals.
