Against the backdrop of escalating military skirmishes and casualties on the Artsakh-Azerbaijan Line of Contact, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan left for Stepanakert earlier this morning to assess the situation with Artsakh government officials.

The news of Ohanyan’s sudden visit to Artsakh was reported in the Facebook page of Artzroun Hovhannisyan, press spokesman for Armenia’s defense ministry.
