To Date, 28 Criminal Cases Regarding Constitutional Referendum Violations
Armenia’s Special Investigative Service (NSS) reports that as of today, 28 criminal cases based on violations that took place last December 6, the day of the constitutional referendum, are being conducted.
One case has been sent to court for prosecution and the other 27 are still in the pre-examination stage.
The NSS reports that it is amassing material on seven other such cases.
The most recent criminal case taken on by the NSS was based on charges made by HAK proxy Vladimir Karapetyan, claiming that the president of the 2/18 polling station hindered him from carrying out his duties on the day of the referendum.
