At a specially convened cabinet session today to approve the government’s program for 2019, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan declared the launch of his much-ballyhooed economic revolution.

He told his ministers that they must create new opportunities to the people on a practical level and steer clear of making pie-in-the-sky promises.

Pashinyan said his government’s program fully reflects the policy agenda he and his team has set forth.

The government’s draft program was unanimously approved by the cabinet and will shortly be presented to the National Assembly.
