Armenian Economic Development Minister Discusses Government's Program with EIB Delegation
Armenian Minister of Economic Development and Investments Tigran Khachatryan today discussed aspects of the Armenian government’s five-year economic program with a European Investment Bank (EIB) delegation led by Maciej Czura, the EDB’s Regional Representative for the South Caucasus.
According to an Armenian government press release, Czura and Khachatryan discussed the EDB financed projects now underway in Armenia, paying particular attention to the agricultural, road construction, energy saving and irrigation sectors.
The sides also discussed the issue of making financing accessible to small and medium sized businesses.
The European Investment Bank is the lending arm of the European Union. It’s the world’s largest multilateral lender.
