The Armenian government today approved a decision to allocate financial aid to those political parties/alliances that garnered 3% or more of the votes cast in last December’s snap parliamentary election.

Thus, over the course of 2019, the Im Kayl (My Step) Alliance will receive AMD 78 million ($160,000), the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) will receive AMD 9.1 million, Bright Armenia – AMD 7 million, Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) – AMD 5.2 million, and the ARF – AMD 4 million.

In the December 9, 2018 election the My Step Alliance won 70.42% of the vote, Prosperous Armenia – 8.26%, Bright Armenia – 6.37%, and ARF – 3.88%.
