Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) President Liliane Maury Pasquier yesterday paid her respects at the Tzitzernakaberd Genocide Memorial in Yerevan.

Pasquier was accompanied by Ruben Rubinyan, Chair of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Foreign Relations.

Pasquier, according to an Armenian government press release, said that genocides are being committed today and that it’s vital to struggle against hate, discrimination and intolerance of others.
