Armenian National Assembly President Ararat Mirzoyan today, in Yerevan, met with Republic of Korea Ambassador to Armenia Woo Yoon-keun.

The two, according to an Armenian government press release, discussed a number of projects implemented in Armenia, including those providing technical assistance to the country’s parliament.

“The President of the National Assembly expressed confidence that the expansion of the Armenian-Korean relations would greatly promote the opening of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Yerevan,” reads the press release.

Also discussed was the pending Investment Encouragement and Defense Bilateral Agreement between the two countries.

Mirzoyan said the Armenian parliament will ratify the agreement and that it will spur the further expansion of Armenia-Korea relations.
