
Armenia Cuts Number of Ministries to Twelve; Gone are Agriculture, Culture and Diaspora
Armenia’s National Assembly, by a vote of 79 to 41, passed a bill today calling for the following twelve government ministries:
Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education, Science and Sport, Ministry of the Environment, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, Ministry of the Economy, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Advanced Technologies Production.
Gone are the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Culture and Ministry of the Diaspora.
One MP abstained from voting.
