Ashot Aghababyan, Chief Editor of the newspaper Hayatsk, has publicly refuted a Henaran.am news website report that he will be showing up on the proportional ballot of the Prosperous Armenia Party for the upcoming parliamentary election.

“It’s disinformation and a really low form of hooliganism, especially since the news brief was pulled from the site by noon,” Aghababyan’s statement reads.

The editor says he has no desire to become an MP and would rather stick to journalism.
