Today’s Armenian government cabinet meeting was the last to be held with the current 17 ministry make-up.

On May 8, the Armenian parliament passed a government bill to reduce the number of ministries to the following twelve - Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education, Science and Sport, Ministry of the Environment, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, Ministry of the Economy, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Advanced Technologies Production.
