Armenian President Armen Sarkissian today hosted a group of Armenian and non-Armenian physicists attending the International Centre for Theoretical Physics conference in Yerevan.

Sarkissian, according to a government press release, told the physicists that one of his aims as president is to turn Armenia into a scientific center and to spur the development of the natural sciences.

He told the scientists that such development will help advance technological growth in Armenia.
