Armenia Gets New Minister of Justice
Rustam Badasyan has been appointed Armenia’s new Minister of Justice.
Badasyan, who had been serving as Deputy President of the State Revenue Committee, replaces Artak Zeynalyan who resigned from the post on June 7.
It’s believed that Zeynalyan was pressured to resign due to mounting criticism of the country’s judiciary and the slow pace of reforms.
