The Armenian Red Cross Society (ARCS) will allocate 35,215 drams ($74) in humanitarian financial assistance to each of 960 families most affected by a strong hailstorm that hit Shirak Province on June 24 of this year.

Armenian Red Cross Society (ARCS) President Mkhitar Mnatsakanyan informed Shirak Governor Tigran Petrosyan about the assistance program during a meeting at the ARCS headquarters on July 23.

The money will be used to offset crop damage losses incurred by the families.
