Government Grants AMD 13 Million Customs Tax Waiver to Company Where "My Step" Alliance MP Worked as Deputy Director
The Armenian government today decided to grant an AMD13 million custom’s tax waiver to Art Global, a company where Im Kayl (MyStep) Alliance MP Artashes Petrosyan served as deputy director from 2016-2019.
The company, founded in 2015, plans to import AMD 247 million worth of cardboard from China to be fashioned into paper plates, cups and other items.
The company, in return for the waiver, has promised to invest 250 million drams in the business and to create twenty new jobs paying an average monthly salary of 150,000 drams.
The pro-government My Step Alliance enjoys a majority in Armenia’s National Assembly.
