
VivaCell Promises Better Service On the Way
Back in the autumn of last year, Viva Cell warned it telephone service customers about possible technical difficulties they might face due to ongoing work to improve the network. The company promised that improved service would be available after the New Year.
Well, one month into 2012, it appears that Viva Cell’s mobile service has gotten worse, not better. Many subscribers claim it’s next to impossible to call up people using ArmenTel as a provider.
Hetq spoke to VivaCell representatives who said that the new equipment is in place and that what remains is to work out any “kinks” in the system.
VivaCell said it welcomed the feedback of the public and media, especially when reporting mobile reception “dead zones”.
