Government Allocates $3.5 Million to Increase Teachers' Salaries

The Armenian government will allocate AMD 1.665 billion (US$3.5 million) to increase the salaries of public-school teachers by an average of 10%.

“Raising the salaries of teachers working in general education institutions will encourage their work," the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport stated.
