
Arman Sargsyan Appointed Temporary Armenian Chief of Police
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has appointed Arman Sargsyan to temporarily replace outgoing Valery Osipyan as the country’s Chief of Police.
Yesterday, Pashinyan dismissed Valery Osipyan as police chief.
Pashinyan then appointed Osipyan his chief adviser.
Sargsyan had been serving as First Deputy Chief of Police, a post he was appointed to in May 2018.
