Work Underway to Build Auto Customs Clearinghouse in Gyumri
Armenia will spend an estimated AMD 2.6 billion (US$5.5m) to build an automobile customs clearinghouse in Gyumri, the country’s second largest city.
Today, the government allocated 970 million drams to the State Revenue Committee to cover the cost of installing the clearinghouse’s foundation.
In April, after visiting the Noragavit Division of Customs Clearance of the Ararat Customs Department, Prime Minister Pashinyan issued orders to research the possibility of transferring the process of car customs clearance to Gyumri.
