As part of the visit, Sarkissian is scheduled to meet with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, Prime Minister Ana Brnabić, Speaker of the National Assembly Maja Gojković, and Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church, His Holiness Irinej.

The meetings will focus on a wide range of issues related to the agenda of cooperation between the two countries, opportunities and prospects for the development of Armenian-Serbian economic cooperation.

Sarkissian’s agenda includes visits to the country's scientific, technological and educational institutions, as well as meetings with representatives of the Armenian community of Serbia.

President Sarkissian will pay his respects at an Armenian stone-cross memorial to  the Serbian pilots whose plane crashed while ferrying humanitarian assistance to Armenia during the days of the 1988 Spitak earthquake.

Sarkissian will also lay flowers at the Monument to the Unknown Hero.
