Armenian Government Allocates $846,000 for Community Improvement Projects

The Armenian government will allocate 403 million drams (US$846,000) to implement state-subsidized community improvement projects in the provinces of Ararat, Kotayk, Tavush, Shirak, Armavir and Lori.

Communities in these provinces submitted 518 project applications, of which 483 were approved.

The mainly deal with capital improvements: improvement of streets, gardens, parks, playgrounds, construction and renovation of community buildings, cultural houses, kindergartens, event halls, construction and renovation of drinking, sewerage, irrigation systems, renovation and renovation.
