In the second round of the European Team Championship in Batumi, Georgia, the Armenian team defeated Croatia 3-1, thus registering its second victory.

According to Armenia’s National Olympic Committee, the leaders of the Armenian team Levon Aronian and Arman Pashikyan have won their matches.

Armenia’s women's team concluded its match with France with a 2-2 draw.  Elina Danielyan and Anna Sargsyan won, while Lilit Mkrtchyan and Siranush Ghukasyan lost.

In the third round, the Armenian team will play against the Czech Republic, and the women's team will face Slovakia.
