Yerevan faces a budget deficit of 9.112 billion drams (US$19.1 m) if the 2020 budget proposed by Armenian capital's Municipal Council is approved.

The budget forecasts revenues of 107.120 billion drams (US$225 million) and expenditures of 116.232 billion.

Yerevan’s budget for 2019 amounted to 83.077 billion drams in revenue and 84.346 billion in expenditures, resulting in a deficit of 1.269 billion.

The Yerevan Municipality will hold public hearings on the proposed budget on November 27 at 11 am.
