Armenian President Armen Sarkissian, now in the UAE on a working visit, today met with UAE State Minister for Food Security Mariam Almheiri.

Almheiri, according to Sarkissian’s official website, described the concept and experience of the UAE in the field of food safety, as well as the steps taken in the UAE to develop the sector.

Highlighting the development of food safety management systems in Armenia, President Sarkissian noted that it is necessary to work together, utilizing the existing sizeable potential.
