Noting that his administration wholeheartedly backs the principle of corporate social responsibility, Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan hosted representatives of companies and individuals who have provided various types of support to the Armenian capital.

Marutyan, according to a statement released by the Yerevan Municipality, toasted the invited representatives as “pioneers” and said he was certain that their example would be adopted by others.

“You are participating in the construction of your city,” Marutyan said, adding that the city will stand behind those who support it.

China’s Ambassador to Armenia, Tian Erlong, was one of those receiving awards from Marutyan for their assistance in solving the socio-economic problems facing Yerevan.
